To take a screenshot with the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 simply:

Hold down the HOME button and the POWER button for a few seconds. The HOME button is on the front of the phone at the bottom, the POWER button is on the right of the phone.

The phone will make the photo capture noise, and ‘Screen captured. Saved as file image.’ should appear on the screen.

For users running the older firmware before 2.3.6, hold down HOME and the BACK buttons at the same time.
